Claims Analyst III responsibilities include:

• Communicating directly with claimants by phone or email
• Using proprietary software tools to access and review claim documents, enter claim decisions, and create escalations when needed
• Consulting with team leadership and peers on case work
• Following written procedures and scripts
• Verifying data and processing requirements and making corrections as necessary
• Completing other projects as assigned
• Meeting and exceeding departmental expectations for accuracy and productivity
• Communicating immediately to leadership all obstacles to completing work
• Data entry and verification
• Drafting claimant facing communications based on guidance provided
• Utilizing documented team processes to ensure compliance with departmental standards
• Contributing subject area expertise to determine processing guidelines and assess if standards have been met

Job Qualifications And Requirements

• Sharp critical thinking skills with sound judgment
• Ability to sit at a computer workstation for long periods of time
• Excellent attention to detail
• Professional degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year of prior Claims Experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
