Position Summary:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with dispensaries in the State of Ohio and managing Standard Wellness product distribution to licensed dispensaries. The position will also require visiting locations where Standard Wellness product is sold and training dispensary staff on products and use. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for helping to determine the best product mix for dispensary needs. Will be a main point of contact for dispensaries.
Essential Job Functions:
- Accurately communicate with Inventory Control to ensure correct products are ordered and distributed to dispensaries; verify and manage orders
- Distribute promotional literature to customers
- Work with dispensaries to improve product exposure and shelf positioning
- Comply with all State of Ohio MMCP marketing regulations
- Develop and maintain business relationships with existing and prospective customers by providing information on product use and benefits, recommending products based on customer needs, and offering ongoing support
- Maintain professional knowledge on all Standard Wellness products
- Train dispensary staff on Standard Wellness products to ensure proper consumption and dosing
- Maintain records of sales or other business transactions; prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales reports
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Strong knowledge of cannabis
- Must have a valid drivers’ license and clean driving record
- Minimum 2 (two) years’ experience in an outside sales role
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field. Commensurate experience will be considered
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without an accommodation
- Must be able to pass all background check and licensing requirements as set forth by the Department of Commerce
- Must be at least 21 years of age
