Our team comprises product managers, business analysts, UX designers, and full-stack software engineers working together to create elegant solutions to complex problems. We run lean, move quickly, and pride ourselves on accelerating Tesla from start-up to scaled enterprise without losing our scrappy spirit.
We are seeking a Product Manager to join the Customer Engagement Suite team. As a member of this team, you will focus on building experiences that enable Tesla employees to communicate with customers and track all interactions between customers and Tesla across all business lines throughout a customer’s lifecycle with Tesla.
This Product Manager will focus on delivering highly scalable experiences that enable the growth of current and future products and services as Tesla enters new markets, expands its product portfolio, and builds more factories.
What You’ll Do

• Use agile principles to write user stories and plan and drive the software development of features.
• Work with engineering, UX, and business stakeholders to improve the efficiency of our internal users while improving customer experience.
• Define a set of KPIs to measure customer satisfaction and business impact with the ability to analyze them and utilize them in decision-making processes
• Manage and communicate dependencies with other teams.
• Manage incoming operational escalations, analyze issues, and implement long-term solutions through self-serve tools.
• Work with engineering teams to deliver a scalable architecture that not just meets current needs but considers future growth scenarios.
• Define and deliver product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Prioritize between new features, architectural improvements, and operational excellence.
• Deeply understand internal users and their complex workflows to inform new opportunities that improve their experience.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to query data from various systems to solve problems.
• Experience having shipped internal-facing products that delivered business impact.
• Passionate about working with other businesses and partners to solve their specific challenges.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA, or equivalent in experience.
• Ability to successfully work with various teams, including engineering, UX, legal, finance, sales, and operations.
• Proven history of converting learnings from customer insights into tangible product features that customers love.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial instincts with a clear bias for informed action and a track record of leading new initiatives with limited resources and support.
• 2+ years of experience in product management, product development, and shipping quality, impactful products, with evidence of exceptional ability.

Expected Compensation
$92,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
