We’re a marketing software company that serves small business owners, primarily financial advisors, and insurance agents. About 40,000 small businesses use our tools to build websites and send out our content. Generally, these businesses don’t have marketing departments but are growth-minded enough to know they need to market themselves.


We help them do just that. We work together to create beautiful website designs, automated marketing tools, and award-winning educational content for them. The end goal is to help them build better relationships with their clients with less hands-on effort.

About The Role


Your key role will be to bridge the technical and business worlds, driving the development of products that our customers love. You will work with all parts of the company and will be responsible for products from inception to launch, as well as for their continued success and evolution.


Compensation Salary range $90,000-$110,000 depending on skill level, qualifications and experience


Primary Responsibilities & Expectations


  • Make quick, decisive feature decisions. We value speed and decisiveness, understanding that it's better to make a decision and move forward than to delay for perfect consensus. Mistakes can be learned from and most decisions can be revised, but indecisiveness can stall progress.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team on the product roadmap, assessing quarterly objectives for feasibility and ensuring alignment with overall product strategy.
  • Regularly communicate with both internal and external stakeholders about the product roadmap and progress, gathering feedback to continuously improve our product and processes.
  • Conduct customer surveys and interviews to gather data insights, using this information to guide product decisions and enhance our product offerings.
  • Research and identify new features and functionality for our marketing and communication product, staying ahead of the curve and ensuring our product remains competitive and innovative.
  • An internet connection with speeds of 5 Megabits down / 3 Megabits up (5mbps/3mbps)
  • Embrace a "test, learn, and iterate" approach, driving product development with a strong bias towards action. Your role is crucial, often wearing multiple hats, involving you in crafting user experiences, writing user stories, and prioritizing the backlog.
  • Accessible during the assigned work schedule for regular duties and responsibilities as outlined by the supervisor
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape, keeping track of both direct competitors and horizontal industry-neutral competitors to inform our product strategy.
  • Oversee successful product releases, coordinating with other teams such as Marketing, Customer Service, and Sales. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a successful end-to-end product development process.

Skills And Qualifications


  • Experience in a SaaS company, understanding the unique dynamics and requirements of such an environment.
  • Two years of experience in Product Management, preferably at a SaaS company.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment, fostering cooperation and teamwork.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, showing strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis, using data to inform product decisions.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs with the ability to translate these needs into product solutions. Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
