Sr Product Manager, Tesla Service/Energy Distribution Network

What To Expect
This Product manager will play a key role in building software products/features for Tesla Service/Energy Distribution networks and will make a direct impact on Tesla Warehouse Operations. We are looking for highly motivated, technically equipped and extremely collaborative individuals to join our team. This team member will always focus on business deliverables, leadership goals and company vision.

Other locations: Sparks, NV & Austin, TX
What You’ll Do

• Work with engineering team to deliver a scalable architecture that not just meets current needs, but considers future growth scenarios
• Define a set of KPIs to measure operations performance and business impact with the ability to analyze them and utilize them in decision making processes
• Define and deliver a product vision and strategy
• Define roadmap and customer scenarios
• Work with engineering, UX, and business stakeholders such as Warehouse operations, Logistics operations, Fulfillment, Material planning and Production planning operations to deliver world class business specific applications
• Manage product escalations and support knowledge transition.
• Prioritize new features and enhancements, architectural improvements and operational excellence.
• Capture the requirements with supporting use cases, process flow charts, and suggest solution approach that considers current operations and future growth plans
• Conduct User acceptance test (UAT) and product quality sign-off and product documentation.

What You’ll Bring

• Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders; experience presenting to senior executives
• Hands on experience in implementing back-office Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) process such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Forecast to Build etc
• Passionate about working with other businesses and partners and provide solutions to solve their specific challenges
• Good understanding and working experience in IT systems development using Agile methodology
• SQL skills and exposure on API based systems integration platforms.
• Travel: 25%
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to use data and metrics for making assumptions and decisions
• Experience in green field implementation of ERP applications in the market is a advantage
• Additional Locations: Lockport, IL; San Bernardino, CA; Pontoon Beach, IL; Elkridge, MD; Plant City, FL
• Experience in developing IT systems for warehouse management (WMS), inventory management, or anything related to distribution domain
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or MBA or equivalent in experience, and 3+ years of experience in product management
• Ability to successfully work with cross range of teams including IT, engineering, UX, business stakeholders and end users

Expected Compensation
$92,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
