About The Role

Fox Corp is looking for an Associate Product Manager (Product Manager 1) for its Fox Sports Digital Product team to contribute to our mobile and living rooms products. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports and delivering the best user experience to fans. The role will support product leads across living room and mobile in the ideation and development of the core user experience to help drive discoverability, engagement, and retention enabling Fox Sports app to continue to be a best in class product. The successful candidate will have experience managing digital initiatives and will collaborate with a team of product managers, engineers, designers, UX researchers, and data analysts to drive our key goals. a Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities

• Stay current on sports and entertainment products, topics and trends
• Liaise with various partners like the CMS team and Editorial as required on new capabilities
• Ship experiments in partnership with our growth and data science team to test bold product hypotheses designed to improve our ability to get users engaged with the content on our platforms.
• Work effectively with a team of developers to ensure a consistently smooth process of code deployment to market
• Gather requirements to define minimum viable product and phasing
• Be the voice of the customer and the product evangelist to users, executives, and partners
• Feed the product backlog, ensuring our engineering partners have requisites detail to interpret user stories and success criteria
• Plan future features, releases and iterations, based on qualitative and quantitative data
• Produce detailed written specifications (i.e. user stories)
• Understands the competitive landscape and evolving customer needs
• Support the Product Management teams across Living room and Mobile with development and launch of new features and capabilities in partnership with our Engineering , Design, and Research
• Perform thorough user acceptance testing with strong attention to detail and performance
• Contribute to the proactive engagement product strategy and execution of the roadmap

What You Will Need

• Familiarity with platform specific interface guidelines
• Analytically savvy – leveraging both quantitative and qualitative insights to drive outcome-driven product decisions
• Can-do attitude with a passion for digital products and technology
• Actively participates and collaborates with others on the team as well as across the organization for the achievement of business goals
• Strong affinity for sports and familiarity with competing products
• Ability to communicate with effectiveness and empathy
• Interest in gambling, live streaming, data visualizations, esports and social media platforms
• Curious about the why and how
• Comfortable with giving and receiving candid feedback
• Experience writing product specifications for development teams

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

• BA/BS in Computer Science, engineering, related disciplines or equivalent practical experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $95,000.00-115,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
