We seek a candidate eager to join a start-up atmosphere, someone who is able to adapt readily, instill confidence in internal and external partners and drive results. This role’s ideal candidate has a strong background in human resources and payroll compliance with focus on payroll, i9, year end statements. This role will need to have an executive presence in order to communicate regulatory updates and information to both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities Include


  • Develops comprehensive understanding of applicable federal, state, and local level regulations and guidelines applicable to the Experian Employer Services product portfolio and applies that knowledge to enhance the probability of regulatory success or enhancing regulatory compliance for our customers
  • Contributes to internal organizational initiatives and the development and continuous improvement of infrastructure, processes and visibility of the function
  • Supports meetings and communications with Regulatory Bodies, as necessary, directly and indirectly
  • Contributes to the execution of regulatory driven strategic development of new product innovation
  • Makes recommendations to product platforms based on the regulatory environment.
  • Supports relationships with new customers and existing clients
  • Serve as a communication hub for compliance and product market intelligence gathering information as it becomes available
  • Ensures that product team colleagues, functional management, and key stakeholders are apprised of developments that may impact regulatory success, exercising sound judgement and communicating in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborates with functional areas throughout the business, advising on regulatory requirements and reviewing documents from functional contributors for consistency and completeness
  • Develops relationships and processes to expand business opportunities and is involved in communicating to internal and external customers how Experian Employer Services product capabilities work to solve regulatory driven challenges


Qualifications


  • Knowledge of human capital management systems and/or HR/Payroll/Tax related product offerings a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in payroll and/or tax compliance
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks, take initiative and prioritize multiple work items.
  • Must remain flexible and be comfortable with ambiguity within a very demanding, constantly changing environment.
  • Must familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local level regulations and guidelines and experience applying the intelligence to guide business strategy and innovation.
  • 5+ years’ experience in employer services preferred.
  • Experience managing transformative initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package which includes health, life and disability insurance, generous paid time off including paid parental and family care leave, an employee stock purchase plan and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
