About This role
Scribe is hiring an Office and Employee Experience Manager for our San Francisco office!
We have a strong People Mission at Scribe and care a lot about the experience of our SF and remote team members. This role is an integral part of keeping the trains running on time and fostering a strong, collaborative, and inclusive culture at Scribe.
This is a great opportunity for a highly organized, detail oriented person who is passionate about the little moments that create an exceptional office and employee experience 🥰.
You will need to be in the San Francisco Office (near Caltrain, in SOMA) at least 3 days per week. Outside of that, we can be flexible - we are open to part-time opportunities for people who may have other commitments (family, school, hobbies, etc). For the right person committed to Scribe, we are committed to making it work for you.
Key Responsibilities
Office management:
- Manage day-to-day operations (e.g. catering, office supplies purchasing, packages, etc.)
- Manage office relocation(s), where applicable
- Ensure office operational efficiencies related to process, organization, supplies, professionalism, and cleanliness/safety
Employee experience (majority of time):
- Foster a welcoming environment in the office and remotely
- Own swag, from concept through to execution and delivery
- Plan and execute high quality company events and program, including employee benefits, recognition, and anniversaries
- Coordinate programs between participants, facilitators, site contacts, and if needed vendors to ensure all events are set up for a thoughtful experience – in-person or remote
- Be the point person for employee questions (on benefits, policies, etc)
- Maintain employee policies and procedures
- Coordinate virtual and in-person interviews with prospective candidates
- Manage on-boarding and off-boarding of new employees and contractors
- Design and run experiences that cultivate a vibrant and diverse work environment that attracts and retains talent
- Design, own, and manage culture-building initiatives for the company
Administrative support (minimal time):
- Provide administrative support to the executive team
- Ad hoc research and special projects support
