POSITION SUMMARY:
The People and Corporate Affairs Operations team is responsible for setting standards, developing foundational processes, and driving operational performance across both our high performing People organization and the newly formed Corporate Affairs team. The Manager, People and Corporate Affairs Operations will focus on support and execution of initiatives that drive engagement across the People and Corporation Affairs organization, including employee experience and engagement programs that impact culture at Visa. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, highly collaborative team player, with strong program management and written communication skills. This individual contributor role reports into the Senior Director, Global People and Corporate Affairs Operations, and is based in San Francisco.
Examples of activities and initiatives the Manager would support:
- Produce enablement materials and help design toolkits for engagement initiatives, in partnership with program owners
- Support the development of a narrative articulating a cohesive Corporate Affairs strategy
- Research best practices and support team members in the research, design and execution of internal consulting and program optimization projects
- Concept and develop internal business communications mechanisms for the Office of the Vice Chair, including a regular newsletter
- Develop content and presentations for key internal and external meetings and manage the overall calendar for the Office of the Vice Chair
- Serve as program manager for strategic employee experience and engagement special projects, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities, project plans and final materials
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Experience working with HR capital management systems (e.g. Workday)
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity and pivot quickly when priorities change
- Business maturity to deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, with demonstrated ability in developing presentations that influence using storytelling and data
- Experience researching and making recommendations for programs based on best practices and data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with storytelling orientation
- A great team member who adds energy, ideas and fun to our team and corporate culture
- Project or program management experience with demonstrated ability to multi-task, collaborate with different stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and remain detail-oriented

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 130,800.00 to 170,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.-
