Who We’re Looking For

Toyota’s North American Parts Center California is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Operations Leader

The primary responsibility of this role is to execute the Facility Daily Production Plan to meet customer demands, while supporting the implementation of both short- and long-term projects focused on improving the safety, quality, and efficiency of our operations.

The person in this role will support operational objectives to be the model of Parts Supply Chain Operational excellence in the relentless pursuit to exceed our customers’ expectations by providing leadership in the application of SPSR, FMDS, and TPS principles to all aspects of the warehouse operations while living out The Toyota Way in all behaviors and actions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Responsible for the consistent application of company policies and guidelines
• Create and deploy short and medium range plans and develop strategies to increase total operational efficiency.
• NAPCC current shift schedules- 6:00am-3:15pm and 9:00am-6:15pm and are subject to change.
• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day operational activities providing leadership in areas of team member relations, safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Provide a safe, secure, and engaging work environment that fosters team member involvement, creativity, and development in a team atmosphere.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement through consistent application of TPS, TQM, Kaizen, and the Toyota Way
• Demonstrate leadership skills that include direct coaching/development of production team members and team leaders in support of facility operational objectives.

What You Bring

• Experience with Lean Logistics, Kaizen, Toyota Production Systems or other similar Lean methodologies
• Experience leading team members in a production or logistics related environment including coaching and developing
• Willingness to relocate in the future, including out of State, for other potential assignments at other Toyota locations
• Operations experience in a distribution environment including logistics/transportation/production control or similar
• Experience managing daily operations using KPIs to track and visualize operational status
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends as needed and daily OT as needed

Added bonus if you have

• Experience with application and development of Toyota Production Systems
• Experience with Tableau software
• Working experience with Power BI, including data importation, slicer manipulation, report creation and troubleshooting
• Project management experience including schedule creation and KPI tracking
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Experience with WMS AS400
• Supervisory experience with responsibility for direct reports

The expected base pay range for this position is $80,100 - $130,100

The annual base salary range for this position is

$80,100.00 - $130,100.00
