As a Manager of People Operations, your primary responsibility will be to lead a small team in the design and delivery of exceptional HR operational practices that create a positive employee experience at all phases of the employee life cycle, and for employees at every level. You will participate in the development and implementation of service agreements, metrics, and performance goals for People Operations, as well as auditing data for quality, accuracy and timeliness. You will drive continuous improvement in key HR areas, including compliance, on-boarding, off-boarding, and engagement. HR data and analytics will inform your decision-making process as you drive team objectives and support the broader goals of the organization, and deliver recommendations through a consultative approach.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
● Lead People Operations team members and processes for end-to-end employee lifecycle support, including a strong focus on on-boarding, employee data management, and off-boarding
● Provide the team with clear direction and guidance over work assignments, process flow, and decisions to drive results
● Model sound business decision making based on continuous analysis, experience and judgment
● Identify new processes and/or services to streamline or automate workflows, to create efficiencies, and to ensure satisfaction for partners in Finance, IT, and Compliance, as well as other stakeholders
● Oversee and manage the inbound requests to our team mailbox (ticket system)
● Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership in the development and execution of people operations strategy
● Maintain compliance with local, state and federal employment laws and regulations
● Own the ongoing evolution of the people experience process to ensure consistent, thoughtful, and high quality resolution of complex queries/issues
● Conduct proactive data and process audits or quality checks to ensure accuracy while promoting continuous learning across the team
● Model a project management mindset, with an effective change management perspective
● Serve as a cultural role model to a wider team
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication. High level of ethics, integrity, discretion and confidentiality
- High technical proficiency, HRIS implementation, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Broad-based knowledge of HR best practices and awareness of laws and regulations
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in Human Resources; healthcare or technology industries preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex issues with creativity and a positive approach
- Requires an individual to maintain the ability to work in an environment with PII data
- Demonstrated ability to apply autonomous decision making in a dynamic environment, subject to changes in priorities, ambiguity and limited direction
- Professional certification preferred; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
- Experience across multiple work environments, diverse exposure to common HR tools and platforms

Salary Range: $90,000-120,000/year
Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, and other relevant factors. This is Episource’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position as of the time of posting.
