Job Description
Who are we hiring?
Reporting to the VP, Talent Management and Chief Diversity Officer, the People Development Manager, Learning Programs will support the enterprise-wide, global comprehensive talent management strategy that is designed to advance, support, engage and retain employees. In addition, you will lead the design, execution and data collection of initiatives focused on core skills and functional/ role-based development. This individual is accountable to deliver effective best-in-class learning curriculums focused on our customer service programs and guest facing employees.
What will you do?
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting for all relevant projects.
  • Create programming focused on customer service standards and skill building for our guest facing employees.
  • Design, develop and facilitate scalable training solutions, evaluating both face-to-face and virtual solutions, for delivery to a global audience
  • Partner with business units to create a sustainable and scalable approach to department onboarding and new hire assimilation.
  • Help build a learning culture and connectivity across employees through learning experiences
  • Gather and document feedback and results to help business leaders and teams identify strengths, areas for improvement and suggest bespoke learning solutions
  • Create and prepare training materials and curate on-line content and general content management on LMS – select, develop training aids including handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, digital aids
  • Identify, partner and communicate effectively with vendors and internal partners regarding contracts, scheduling, shipment of materials and billing
  • Have a clear and consistent project management methodology and be able to compose, edit and distribute documentation and ensure understanding across all stakeholders
  • Create, develop and deliver high quality, engaging learning and developmental content aligned with the latest L&D and inclusion best practices
  • Conduct needs analyses to assess requirements of target audiences to improve performance, including meetings with subject matter experts and research to validate content needs to determine the appropriate learning solution
What do you need to succeed?
  • Ability to build strong relationship with peers and senior leadership
  • Deep passion for building inclusive solutions that provide accessibility and development opportunities for underrepresented talent
  • Ability to create a training measurement strategy and gather quantitative and/or qualitative data, analyze and identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast paced, ambiguous environments that requires agility while demonstrating sound judgement
  • 6+ years of experience in an L&D and/or customer service
  • Innovation, communication, facilitation, design thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and in a timely fashion
  • 3-5+ years of experience in instructional design within the customer service environment, with high-level proficiency in authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, or Camtasia.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in instructional design, business or equivalent work experience required, or relevant degree in educational technology or similar
  • Experience with building relationships and partnering across highly matrixed organizations
  • Advance level experience with MS Office, Powerpoint, Outlook, MS Teams, virtual instructional design tools; synchronous/asynchronous learning strategies
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
  • Some nights and weekend availability needed to facilitate trainings and observe events
