Overview People Development Specialists are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the performance and development of employees. They work with managers and employees to identify areas of improvement, create and deliver training programs, and provide guidance and support to ensure that employees are meeting their goals. Detailed Job Description People Development Specialists are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the performance and development of employees. They work with managers and employees to identify areas of improvement, create and deliver training programs, and provide guidance and support to ensure that employees are meeting their goals. People Development Specialists are also responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure that the organization is taking advantage of the latest training and development opportunities. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs
• Ability to analyze and interpret data
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a related field
• Professional certification in Human Resources or Training and Development
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices
• Knowledge of current trends in training and development
• Knowledge of organizational development and change management
• Knowledge of performance management systems
Job Experience
• At least 5 years of experience in a related field
• Experience developing and delivering training programs
• Experience working with external vendors and partners
• Experience working with a variety of stakeholders
