Global Business Development Strategist (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract

Compensation Range: $32 - 37 per hour

Our client in the beauty and cosmetic space is seeking a Global Business Development Strategist to join their team in the El Segundo, CA office on a hybrid basis! The ideal candidate should be adaptable in using their organizational skills to prioritize tasks and opportunistic in taking ownership of various projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage logistics of recurring market & internal calls focused on understanding business opportunities, challenges, etc.
• Assist O+O Team with ad hoc requests.
• Champion strategic analyses with clear CTAs to support brand initiatives (e.g. competitive market analyses).
• Support AVP to optimize all aspects of the business (e.g. official market communications, quarterly sales projections, strategic meeting prep).
• Advocate for markets and champion key projects, in partnership with internal teams, to optimize marketing, logistics, asset management and present new opportunities.
• Responsible for managing Global Launch Calendar, Master Pricing List, etc.
• Support GBD China in project management of registration requirements.

Qualifications:

• Retail Reporting
• Intermediate- level Excel & PowerPoint required, no exceptions 2-3 years of retail reporting & analysis experience strong analytical & communication skills.
• Marketing Strategy
• PowerPoint
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related field of study 2-3 years of analytical experience.
• Possess openness in their problem solving and integrity in their research to effectively address the needs of the company.
• Have the urgency to anticipate busy schedules and teamwork to communicate with other members of the department to complete assignments on time and accurately.
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Quick learner with a proactive entrepreneurial spirit and ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by the company from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
• Demonstrates ability to build strong collaborative relationships & identify business opportunities.
