Nadel, a nationally renowned creative marketing, promotional products & merchandise solutions company (www.nadel.com) seeks a VP of Revenue to oversee business development based in our headquarters in Los Angeles, CA.
:
The Vice President, Revenue will be responsible for overseeing our sales/business development. Partner with leadership to identify sales opportunities and process improvements. This role reports directly to the CEO and CSO. The ideal candidate will provide thought leadership and be able to translate strategy and data into action. It is important that this role works cross-functionally and can collaborate at the highest levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with CSO to develop marketing materials and marketing initiatives. Source a marketing portal where business assets and artwork can easily be accessed by the sales team.
- Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvements. Facilitate continuous process and sales improvement.
- Organizational Design and Effectiveness increase productivity and retention through goal-oriented work culture.
- Review business and the overall environment and report each quarter on key vulnerabilities and opportunities.
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, and be involved in the hiring and development of training. Formulate policy, guidance documents, and education and training materials.
- Ensure key strategic objectives alignment, build consensus, and drive decisions through the organization.
- Funnel and Sales Cycle Management: Lead generation, presentation, negotiation, closing, follow-up, and implementation. Demonstrate ability to coach sales processes to successful outcomes.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on sales performance, opportunities, and goals. Develop new reporting tools as needed.
- Revenue Attainment and Retention
- Engage with the RFP and Finance teams to develop qualifying opportunity metrics and responses.
- Establish and maintain key client relationships. Interact with clients and be a key contact on major programs. Develop and manage Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) and Key Performance Indicators(KPIs)/Metrics.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong leadership ability.
- Ability to effectively lead a geographically dispersed team in sales.
- Proven leader and manager of managers, providing mentorship and development.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Be willing to travel and entertain clients, top sales, and potential recruits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 10+ years of progressive experience in sales management.
- Strategic mindset.
