Job Details

Responsibilities

• Make enquiries and evaluate suppliers on the basis of price, quality, and selection; service, support, and availability, and other factors relevant to the organization
• Review supplier contracts, imputing contract data into Excel templates, generating usage reports; validating consumption and compiling supporting documentation.
• Solicit bid proposals and review supplier bids.
• Provide costs analytics and quality metrics on purchased materials and services.
• Monitor shipments to guarantee on-time delivery and settle problems associated with undelivered goods
• Work with data management tools to provide systems support and reports.
• Conduct periodic price audits using supplier data and internal reports.

Qualifications

• Good analytical skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Must have the ability to establish rapport, maintain relationships, and tolerate conflicts in stressful situations.
• Experience analyzing financial reports, price proposals, and other technical data.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or Associate’s degree with work equivalent.
• At least 1 years prior purchasing/supply chain experience is a plus.
