Job Summary:
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Director of Business Development to lead our SMB business development team for our new business model and revenue streams. With a passion for developing new business opportunities and a knack for leading teams, you'll play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth and expanding our market presence. You'll be responsible for acquiring new accounts, developing existing ones, and ensuring we meet our sales goals in your assigned territory.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure alignment of strategies and product-market fit.
- Continuously analyze sales performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the business development team, setting clear expectations, providing ongoing training and development opportunities, and recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and customer needs to anticipate changes and adjust business development and partnership strategies accordingly.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies and plans to drive new revenue growth in the SMB market segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners to drive business growth and foster long-term partnerships.
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies and plans specifically tailored to the restaurant industry, with a focus on driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
- Define growth opportunities and identify potential markets and customer segments for expansion.
Qualifications:
- Proactive, motivated, and interested in working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sales or business development, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels within an organization.
- Proven track record of success in SMB sales, preferably in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in defining growth opportunities, executing strategic plans, and achieving sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and consultative sales skills.
Salary Range:
- The base salary range is $110,000 - $140,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your experiences. This position will be eligible for bonuses and stock options.
