Business Systems Analyst, Hybrid, Assistant Vice President

Who We Are Looking For

The IMS Trade Automation team is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with financial services background to plan, design, and manage software projects for our client’s collateral management system. A good candidate is able to familiarize themselves with existing logic quickly and design meaningful solutions for our client. Additionally, candidates must be well-organized and able to deliver projects in a timely manner.This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What You Will Be Responsible For

As a Business Systems Analyst you will

• Create functional specifications, test and use cases, setting up/fine tuning business process etc.,
• Analyze business/functional requirements
• Perform data mapping, gap/comparative/report analysis as needed
• Validate production deployment of applications
• Coordinate with business users for BUAT testing
• Collaborate with developers for coding/testing of functional requirements

• Strong understanding of SDLC process and project methodologies (Waterfall/Agile)
• Ability to independently perform data analysis, derive field mappings and transformations, and design business solutions in software.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously across different teams.

• Aptitude for learning new things and flexibility to adapt and follow guidelines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with team members and stakeholders in multiple locations.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of project management-centric and product support experience
• Sybase and/or SQL Server querying skills for analysis and production issue research
• Demonstrated success in working with multiple business users in a demanding and dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge in Capital Markets, preferably in Fixed Income securities and trade flow.
• XML and UNIX experience a plus
• Strong communication/documentation skills
• Experience in derivatives and collateral management a plus

Salary Range

$100,000 - $160,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
