Job Details


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Business Development to join an energy corporation based in California. This is a permanent position with a highly lucrative commission and bonus structure that will make the total compensation of this role close to $400k. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the solar and/or energy industry and possess exceptional business development skills. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of industry experts and drive growth in a rapidly evolving sector!


Responsibilities


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and partners.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the energy industry.
  • Identify and pursue new clients through targeted outreach and networking.
  • Collaborate with executives to develop and execute strategic initiatives and partnerships.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on industry developments and identify new opportunities as needed.


Qualifications


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Position is REMOTE but must reside in the United States
  • Proven track record of driving growth and closing deals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Energy and/or solar industry background is required
  • 10+ years of experience in business development
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
