Sourcing and Allocation. This position oversees and coordinates the Drive Thru distributions and distributions

that are directly delivered outside of the menu planning process.

Who We Are: The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank is comprised of a dedicated team of approximately 240 staff working collaboratively to provide over a million meals to over 50,000 households every week in San Francisco and Marin.

Who You Are: To excel in this position, you will need to approach the work with the following habits and values:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Conscientious and meticulous performer in a hectic and fast paced environment. Ability to work and interact well with individuals, from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds in a culturally diverse environment.
• Two years’ experience in transportation logistics. BA degree a plus.
• Great customer service skills; written and spoken.

What You Would Be Accountable For: The Food Resources Coordinator will be responsible for the following key pieces of work:

• Confirm deliveries with vendors via electronic signature when requested.
• Administration
• Create and process agency invoices to Drive Thru sites and offline builds.
• Provides Ceres support for the Starbucks and Amazon-go donation programs.
• Logistical Coordination:
• Friendly, helpful, and collaborative demeanor when interacting with participants, volunteers, drivers, staff, and others
• Owner of distribution file to include protein, grain, combo box and kit transfers.
• Create and submit donation orders and purchase orders to donors and vendors.
• Coordinate the food box transfers for all Drive Thru, POPUP sites, Mission Hub.
• Additional Duties
• Compliance with policies and procedures of Food Bank programs.
• Provide BOLs to contract partners when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Confirm deliveries with contract partners via electronic signature when requested.
• Ordering direct delivery produce.
• Coordinating outlet of excess food boxes based on wish list
• Ensure accurate and timely deliveries of Drive Thrus and offline site donations through close coordination with donors and vendors.
• Coordinate any pick-ups needed with Transportation team.
• Ability to troubleshoot problematic deliveries as they arise on various days and hours. a. Intake i. Fields all appointment requests for Drive Thru and offline inbound loads. ii. Maintain inbound logs as needed for programs. iii. Input and maintain these donation orders in CERES iv. Work closely with the Inventory Manager to ensure offsite product is received into CERES.

What You Would Be Doing Right Now

• Act as the key contact on all inbound offline deliveries and distributions.
• Coordinate transportation for direct deliveries to pantry sites and needed transfers of this product to agency sites, as well as Food Bank facilities.
• The purpose of this position is to oversee and coordinate the Drive Thru distributions and distributions that are directly delivered outside of the menu planning process.
• Maintain all transportation electronic files and reporting.
• These duties and responsibilities are subject to change as needs dictate. This will include but not be limited to the duties and responsibilities listed below.

What Else You Should Know

PREFERRED: Spanish reading and writing capability. Knowledge of San Francisco and/or Marin County

neighborhoods.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is set in a Hybrid environment. The physical and environmental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position requires three days/week in office, two days/week remote. Of the three days in office, that time will be primarily spent at 900 Penn in San Francisco warehouse and office. On occasion, this position may require work in other Food Bank work sites (Kerner for example) that would be when necessary and not a part of the regular work week.

POSITION COVERED BY OPEIU LOCAL 29 BARGAINING UNIT.

SALARY The position is Full Time. The starting salary for this position ranges from $62,038.79 to $65,304.12 per year, with exact salary depending on experience.
