Remote, Nationwide - Seeking Human Resources Coordinator

The Opportunity
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Produces and submits reports on general Human Resources activity.
  • Assists with conducting exit interviews.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Maintains employee files as to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provides human resource policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Prepares new employee files.
  • Coordinates training sessions and seminars.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Schedules meetings, interviews, HR events and maintains agendas.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and updates records of new staff.
  • Writes, revises, edits and proofreads company policies and procedures and related documents as needed.
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Assists with processing of status reports, pay changes and terminations.
  • Processes department mail.
  • Supports other assigned ad hoc HR projects and functions.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other Human Resources programs.
Required Experience And Competencies
  • Human Resources certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Ability to adapt to change working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use business savvy and proactive thinking to ensure we're anticipating needs.
  • Experience in a healthcare industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations as it relates to employment law.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook and Excel).
  • One (1) or more years of Human Resources Coordinator experience required.
  • Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Behavioral Science, Human Resources Management or equivalent required.
  • Ability to deal constructively with conflict and use good judgment.
  • Ability to investigate and research laws and regulations and to develop implementation and messaging plans.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize while managing tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Vituity policies, procedures, compliance and practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and in writing.
