Job Description

Rainbow Restoration of Orange County is expanding and currently seeking a proactive Business Development Representative. If you thrive in fast moving environments, are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines, have strong industry network and looking for uncapped commissions, we want to talk to you.


Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the market and identify viable target clients in markets such as: managed property (commercial and residential), healthcare, hospitality, education, industrial, retail sectors, local and state governments
  • Pursue and cultivate strong professional relationships and promote our restoration and construction services to referral sources and trade partners such as property managers and owners, insurance adjusters, insurance agents, home builders, facility managers, and home inspectors
  • Develop sales strategies and develop sales presentation materials to present tailored presentations and proposals to customers based on their goals and objectives
  • Achieve quarterly revenue targets and perform according to weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual targets goals and objectives in line with the Company’s Business and Marketing Plan
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and services and stay current with market trends
  • Network locally at Chamber of Commerce functions and other local associations you are able to join
  • Build restoration, facility services, and construction sales pipeline with sales targets across key verticals accross B2B and B2G markets


Preferred Skills, Experience & Requirements:

  • Experience with a CRM tool, and working knowledge of current business software technologies
  • Must have sales background in one or more of these verticals: office buildings, multi-family, hospitality, medical facilities, high-rise buildings, education, retail space, commercial real estate, general construction, or commercial finance
  • Clean driving record and be able to pass background check
  • Experience managing multiple projects and able to multi-task in a large territory
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to leverage communication skills with clients to persuade and influence through meetings and presentations
  • A minimum five years of progressively responsible B2B sales experience with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to build and present client and solution/value-based proposals
  • Exceptional relationship building, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Be drug free and committed to staying drug free
  • Experience with sales and marketing within the service sector, preferably sales experience in the restoration, construction industry, or facility management
  • Proven track record of sales goal attainment in a longer selling cycle environment
  • Local knowledge and contacts in one or more market segments preferred
  • Desire to work in an environment that rewards strong ethical standards and conduct
