We are an emerging startup in the Life Sciences SaaS startup space. We are on a mission to disrupt the pre-clinical phase of Biotech and Pharma enterprise SaaS. We've been operating in stealth mode and have a SaaS product in production. We are now looking to build out a team in the US and bring on a Head of Business Development and Sales to bring our product to market in the US.

  • This will be one of our first US hires and is a pivotal role for us. Sales cycle could take +6 months. The first 6 months will be building the pipeline from scratch with anticipation of going 0 to 1 in 6 months. This is a pure hunter role to start with building a team down the road. Must have recent/current hunter experience and building a sales pipeline from 0 in LIMS / Life Science SaaS.
  • The ideal candidate will be based out of the Bay Area or California and have a strong SaaS Life Science background.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Build a dedicated direct sales team that focuses on selling its products directly to life sciences, biotech, and pharma customers. This includes account executives, sales managers, and sales support staff.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the target sector, including industry associations, trade organizations and key influencers.
  • Responsible for generating revenue for the company, including generating leads, contacting potential customers, closing sales, and managing customer relationships.
  • Leveraging partnerships with complementary companies to tap into new customer segments and accelerate growth. The potential partnerships could be companies that serve the same target market, such as laboratory equipment providers or research institutions.
  • Establishing and leveraging partnerships to expand company reach, tap into new customer segments, and accelerate growth.
  • Collaborate with companies, organizations, and individuals in the life sciences industry to expand the reach of the Enterprise Plasticity Platform. This will include collaboration with technology providers, integrators, or consultancies.
What You Need for this Position
10+ years in the following:
  • Deep connections with decision makers CIO/CSO/CTO
  • PhD or advanced degree in life science or medicine a plus
  • Successful track record: new business/high growth
  • Life Science Industry: Biotech / Pharma
  • Ability to travel USA (will discuss how much)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset / disrupter
  • Pre-Series A fundraising experience a huge plus
  • Software - SaaS cloud platform - AI/ML - Analytics
  • Startup experience/ built new business from 0 to 1
  • Enterprise SaaS experience - must have software experience!
