Blueboard is looking for a leader with a demonstrated track record of building, managing and leading sales development teams. This person will be an expert in designing the systems and processes for a scaling SDR organization while also being a true coach for a manager and the rest of the sales development organization. As Blueboard expands, we are looking for someone to lead the first line in our sales motion. The ideal candidate will have experience working at a startup or a similar fast-paced environment.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:


  • Own and drive execution of new business pipeline goals by understanding and analyzing top-of-the-funnel metrics, pipeline quality, and revenue influenced across all segments
  • Partner closely with sales leadership and teams to ensure proper alignment on account coverage, target personas, opportunity quality and SDR to AE hand-off
  • Lead a front-line manager to establish rigor in their businesses, develop Sales Development talent, and deliver cross-functional improvements.
  • Articulate the business value of Blueboard, and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Blueboard platform, our competitors, and industry trends
  • Plan, forecast, and understand ramp adjusted capacity to ensure the team is grown effectively, in tandem with the needs of the sales organization and the supply of inbound demand from marketing
  • Manage the execution of the overall targeted strategy for generating outbound prospecting pipelines
  • Develop your team’s skills for prospecting, qualifying, and Opportunity creation
  • Coach and lead a growing team of high-performing sales development professionals
  • Maintain a strong focus on outcomes and impact by Closely monitoring metrics with the aim to increase productivity and quality of meetings for the sales team.
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and professional development while prioritizing and maintaining an inclusive, dynamic, highly engaged team environment
  • Actively use tools such as 6sense, salesforce.com, Outreach, and Orum to manage sales processes, and opportunity trends, and set standards for performance metrics


Your Skills and Qualifications Include:


  • 2+ years of 2nd line leadership experience with a consistent record of quota attainment.
  • 3+ years of sales development 1st line leadership experience.
  • Experience in successfully managing early career salespeople to achieve performance goalsExcellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams as being collaborative, innovative, accountable, and reliable
  • Ability to hire, onboard, and continuously train top talent early in their sales careersAbility to be flexible and adaptable to changing conditions at a fast-paced, growing technology company
  • Experience in the HR tech space is a plus
  • Proven record of sales success leading high-performing, pipeline generation, and closing teams in a fast-growing technology company


$120,000 - $135,000 a year


Salary is dependent on experience.


This position will also include a commission opportunity.
