A well established and rapidly growing automotive electronics manufacturer seeks to hire a Director of Sales & Business Development due to their continued expansion. Reporting to the VP/GM of North America, this position will be based in the greater San Jose, CA area and be responsible for leading relationship management and business development activities specific to a leading electric vehicle OEM. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop Account Manager(s).
- Lead quotation processes in conjunction with other departments.
- Maintain and enhance commercial relationships/accounts for specific EV OEM business.
- Manage sales reporting processes.
- Proactively assess market and technology trends with potential impacts on future needs of customer.
- Develop and execute new business development strategies for expanding business with customer.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven ability to enhance and expand relationships with OEM purchasing and engineering executives.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business or Engineering preferred).
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience within automotive industry.
- Strong negotiation skills.
