As an Intake Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient care by coordinating benefits verification, authorizations, and patient financial counseling. Responsibilities That Empower
Utilize your expertise in insurance coverage for infusion and specific health plans to conduct accurate benefit checks and obtain prior authorizations, ensuring patients receive the care they need.
Collaborate with our healthcare team, including caregivers, physicians, and external stakeholders, to provide exceptional value and personalized care to our valued customers.
Maintain meticulous records, ensuring that all interactions and transactions are accurately documented to streamline processes.
Be a compassionate problem solver, addressing and resolving issues with patients, physicians' offices, insurance companies, and government agencies.
Take the lead on prior authorizations, leveraging your proven track record and reporting skills to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
Work hand-in-hand with our dedicated Infusion Team, including pharmacists, nurses, IV pharmacy technicians, and drivers, to achieve our common goal of patient well-being.
Demonstrate your commitment to the team by supporting office duties, answering calls, and collaborating effectively to maximize billing and insurance claim receivables.

Qualifications That Stand Out
High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Intake Authorization Coordinator.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively handle responsibilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products to facilitate smooth workflows.
Experience in an acute or specialty infusion pharmacy will be highly valued.
Familiarity with CPR+ Pharmacy Management System is a significant plus.
