Role Overview
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our global supply chains and expanding our fulfillment capabilities through the power of technology. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Operations, you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with passionate founders and gain valuable insights into all aspects of operating and executing strategic components within our diverse portfolio of brands.
Key Responsibilities
Fulfillment Tech Stack: You will serve as the control tower of our digital fulfillment system, ensuring a seamless flow of orders by overseeing the connections between our Warehouse & Order Management system and sales channels. Additionally, you will design automation rules to streamline and optimize order fulfillment at the warehouse level.
Shipping, Fulfillment, and Vendor Management: Getting our exceptional products into the hands of our customers is paramount. You will develop a comprehensive small parcel shipping strategy, manage carrier performance, and foster strong relationships with our small parcel carriers. Overseeing our freight operations, you will coordinate inventory transfers between warehouses and handle inbound inventory shipments, including those to Amazon. Your role will also involve daily order management and trafficking across our brand portfolio, potentially involving analysis and management of 3PL vendors.
Analytics: We believe in data-driven decision-making. You will develop tools and dashboards to share supply chain data across our organization and provide detailed supply chain-focused analysis to support our brands' growth and success.
Additional General Supply Chain Management & Special Projects: As needed, you will contribute your expertise to various supply chain management initiatives and assist with special projects that arise.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, supply chain engineering, or a similar field.
2-5 years of experience in e-commerce, operations, fulfillment, or supply chain analytics.
A strong passion for e-commerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) models, with knowledge of industry systems, tools, and best practices.
Proven program management skills with a drive for operational improvement and excellence.
Analytical mindset, able to draw insights from unstructured data and provide fact-based recommendations.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon Seller Central and Shopify.
Understanding of warehousing, fulfillment, and warehouse management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn technical skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
Experience negotiating rate contracts with small parcel carriers, freight brokers, or 3PLs.
Familiarity or expertise with warehouse management systems (e.g., Shiphero, Brightpearl).
Proficiency in data tools like SQL or PowerBI.
Experience with growth operations, including channel management, international expansion, and retail operations.
Proficiency in supply chain modeling and fulfillment network analysis.
Passion for automation, process building, and repeatable processes.
