Purpose Of Job
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for inventory management of their fulfillment center(s). The role provides support the Fulfillment Center Operations Team and the Supply Planning Team. through inventory control management and service management on supply related constraints within the assigned fulfillment center(s).
Job Components
- Analyzes supply and demand imbalances and facilitates resolution throughout activities.
- Works with fulfillment center operation teams to reconcile sales order discrepancies.
- Acts as super user for planning tools.
- Assists in quantifying and defining scope for capacity, resource, logistics, and supply chain planning.
- Incorporates inventory planning for highly seasonal and promoted products and ensure distributor inventory settings are updated accordingly.
- Performs Analysis utilizing a wide range of inventory related reports to ensure consistent supply for distributors.
- Proactively re-balances excess inventory between the fulfillment centers to ensure sufficient supply, improve inventory utilization, and minimize obsolescence.
- Monitors performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drives improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of how forecasting drives Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Finite Scheduling and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP).
- Experience in end-to-end supply chain management involving distribution, inventory management, and project management.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Technical or equivalent discipline preferred.
- Strong quantitative skills and ability to analyze supply chain management problems to develop and implement practical solutions.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex supply chain problems, with an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Prior experience in a high volume, fast paced, customer-focused supply chain.
- APICS Supply Chain Certification and/or Green Belt Certification preferred.
- Familiarity with the tools, methodologies, and disciplines of a Lean Six Sigma environment.
- Minimum of 1-2 years working experience; including a role of similar responsibility/scale in Supply Chain, Operations, Strategy, or related field.
- Passion to drive continuous improvement through identification of root-cause solutions to key business problems.

- Collaborates with cross-functional partners, fulfillment center teams and distribution center teams.
Work Environment
- May be exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Prolonged use of personal computers and telephone.
- Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
- Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 20+ lbs.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
