We are seeking a Senior Program Manager of Manager Onboarding to help new Sales and Customer Success managers ramp in their role and develop high performing reps for future manager roles at HubSpot. In this role, you will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of our global Manager Onboarding and Team Lead programs. .


Job Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including sales, customer success, marketing, product, learning & development, and operations teams, to understand business needs and incorporate them into programs
  • Optimize manager onboarding program for internal and external manager hires
  • Work collaboratively across GTM Enablement and Leadership Enablement teams to deliver strong program execution.
  • Develop and refine GTM manager onboarding program that accelerates time to productivity for new Sales and Customer Success managers
  • Define program goals, objectives, and success metrics, and monitor progress towards achieving them
  • Partner with Sales and CS Director+ leaders to develop a consistent and scalable manager onboarding reinforcement strategy that incorporates continuous learning and hiring manager coaching and feedback to accelerate new manager time to productivity
  • Iterate on global Team Lead program to ensure HubSpot has a strong pool of internal talent that is prepared to thrive in GTM people manager role
  • Develop certification strategy to validate new manager confidence and competence across core set of operational responsibilities
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly evaluating, refining and updating our GTM Manager Onboarding and Team Lead programs based on feedback, process and product changes, performance data, and market changes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing guidance and insights on matters related to new and future manager enablement
  • Provide facilitation support across program portfolio as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our manager onboarding and team lead programs are innovative, competitive, and drive business impact.


Characteristics & Skills Needed For The Job


  • Data-driven decision making - Uses data to drive strategic planning or business changes. Influences with data and analysis.
  • Driving Influence - Ability to gain idea buy-in from all types of stakeholders through effective communication skills, public speaking, and expectation setting.
  • Setting strategic direction - The ability to work with stakeholders, understand needs and translate vision into a clear, global strategy is essential.
  • Managing ambiguity - You are comfortable and thrive in an ambiguous environment.
  • >3 years experience in sales, customer success or people management
  • >2 years experience in Enablement (preferably with experience in global program management)
  • Strong understanding of GTM onboarding and best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.


Cash compensation range: 118500-189600 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
