Job Description

Sr. Project Manager - Creative

At 22squared, a Creative Senior Project Manager is responsible for process management, oversight and day-to-day management of an assigned client or clients. The Senior Project Manager keeps the teams’ attention focused on achieving goals and meeting deadlines, by clearly communicating expectations and a sense of urgency when required.  The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of project management experience, from an agency or in-house agency environment. To be considered for this position you must have proven experience working on 360 marketing campaigns. 

This role may be client-facing and the candidate will need to have a full understanding of driving broadcast, social, print and digital projects from initiation through implementation.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee workload of Project Manager(s) to ensure work is appropriately distributed
  • Maintain a high-level planning overview of client projects
  • Resolve and/or escalate project issues in a timely fashion
  • Actively manage multi-track programs and projects on assigned client, working across all channels and various job types
  • Develop and own internal creative process with key multi-disciplinary stakeholders
  • Create and execute complex project timelines based on scoped hours and staff plans
  • Work closely with all team members to ensure process is followed and they are engaged in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist in the training and advocating of process to the agency
  • Facilitate internal status and project meetings effectively
  • Manage studio production workloads for your projects
  • Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
  • Own the allocation, monitoring and optimization of resource allocation for assigned client(s)
  • Work closely with video and radios producers on deliverables for larger campaigns
  • Proactively identify and develop solutions for internal process issues
  • Control priorities of projects throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage all projects in the appropriate project management software

  • Excellent management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong Knowledge of planning and scheduling tools, e.g. Workfront, SmartSheets, etc.

  • Strong leadership, communications, and negotiation skills
  • Adaptable to change and tight deadlines
