Summary:
Join our team as an Customer Software Onboarding Project Manager and play a crucial role in creating successful customer experiences and driving our company's growth. We are looking for a top-notch candidate with excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills to help us achieve our objectives. As an experienced Onboarding Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with implementation and training specialists across various business units to deliver a streamlined customer onboarding experience for key projects. Your role will involve managing multiple concurrent projects or those with dependencies, ensuring successful delivery both on a acro and micro level. You’ve mastered the art of influencing team behavior, maintaining the right sense of urgency, and proactively communicating with customers on any status. Your primary goal will be to accelerate the customer’s realization of value and expedite the company’s time to first revenue.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to prepare detailed specifications, take responsibility for reviewing and approving them.
- Oversee project tracking and reporting, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications by coordinating with various roles and internal teams, as well as guiding the customers through their responsibilities.
- Provide a suitable escalation path for managing customer challenges, concerns and delays proactively, and strive to anticipate issues before they arise.
- Identifies project gaps and makes recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate closely with enablement specialists in sales, training, and customer success to guarantee the availability of sales collateral, expectation-setting material, communication resources, and support for both internal and external use.
- Develop and present detailed project and integration plans with timelines and deliverables to both customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment and clear expectations.
- Plan and lead regular project progress meetings, keeping all stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Master the intricacies of our platforms, and their product integrations, as well as customers’ desired outcomes. This expertise will empower you to guide our internal teams and customers through the onboarding process and other Professional Services projects with diverse levels of complexity.
- Foster strong customer relationships and satisfaction as the primary point of contact, delivering exceptional service that maintains our high standard of feedback.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in a project management, business administration, business logistics or related field
- Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g. PMP) a plus
Work Experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years in a project management, complex customer onboarding or related role, preferably in the software industry.
- Experience in the animal health care industry a plus.
Technical Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients, internal teams, and senior management effectively.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Knowledge of project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS project, Asana, Taskray or others.
- Proficient in Microsoft O365 & Experience with Salesforce, or other CRM.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling you to anticipate potential issues, develop solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong understanding of PM methodologies, best practices and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple fast-paced projects effectively.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Travel
Ability to travel as necessary – Less than 25% primarily to corporate meetings and conferences.
