The Leadership Development Program Manager position plays a key role in shaping the organization’s leadership development programs, applying subject matter expertise to identify leadership development objectives, and designing, developing and implementing leadership development programs. Additionally, this position will demonstrate strong consulting skills to identify learning gaps, assist in designing and developing solutions (using adult learning theory), and deliver training that enables the organization's leaders to reach their full potential. The position requires a professional with executive presence to guide both in-person and virtual group sessions to maximize the group’s learning, develop their leadership skills, and create an awareness of the role these leaders play in numerous aspects of the business, such as driving company culture, nurturing, and developing talent, and boosting business performance. 


What You Will Do


Design, develop, facilitate, and maintain leadership training programs in support of talent development and to achieve learning objectives.


  • Create motivational, inspiring learning experiences.
  • In partnership with the design team, analyze, design, develop, facilitate, evaluate, and improve all training content (ILT, eLearning, guides, presentations, etc.).
  • Develop reinforcement strategies for learning and demonstrating ROI.


Consult with business leaders and HR partners to identify gaps to help develop appropriate solutions.


Manage leadership development program execution. Assist in the roll-out of large programs, working with design and development teams and management, organizing, and coordinating webinars, identifying, and developing additional training or support tools, FAQs and job aids, being the go-to person for questions and following up to ensure implementation.


Assess existing learning and development content and other offerings. Compare/contrast with immediate-, medium- and longer-term business needs, strategic goals, other targets, and anticipated results.


Demonstrate strong facilitation skills. Lead group conversations on leadership content. Highlight participants' existing knowledge, prepare pertinent, meaningful training material, and subsequently steer discussions. Manage the environment of the session (as well as pre- and post-session activities)


Continuously evaluate and measure the impact of leadership development programs. Track program metrics and convey attendees' engagement to applicable business leaders and stakeholders.


Stay abreast of the latest trends, research, and emerging leadership theories. Incorporate leading-edge leadership concepts into leadership development programs.


What You Will Bring


  • Capacity to formulate relevant, memorable curriculums.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to drive critical, student-led dialogs about learning material.
  • Demonstrable executive presence skills.
  • Demonstrated success in interacting and influencing across all management levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 3-5 years leadership experience required.
  • 7+ years leadership training experience required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to motivate, engage, and inspire others.
  • Completion of a recognized facilitators program.
  • Subject matter expertise in leadership development, including current and future focused trends and research
  • Strong knowledge of Adult Learning Theory 
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation by working in a rapidly changing environment.

Base Salary Range


$99,600.00 - $140,700.00


The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
