Who you are:
We seek a collaborative, solution-oriented, and technically savvy Human Resources Information System (HRIS) professional that will be instrumental in implementing and harnessing the power of Workday HCM. This is a key position on the HR Leadership team, and the influence of this role will be felt throughout the company.
- Proven ability to complete projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment
- Able to take technical content and explain the key elements to non-technical professionals
- Prior experience leading large and complex global projects, to include system implementations
- A project leader, with strong project management skills and able to balance competing priorities
- Able to work across functions and at all levels in the organization, lead a team, and manage external providers against established contractual obligations
- An expert with legal and regulatory requirements governing HR as well as data privacy, including GDPR
- Abel to maintain confidentiality when exposed to and handling employee data
- Very comfortable presenting, merging and managing competing views to arrive at consensus
- Proficient leading organizational-level projects with a focus on change & communications strategies
- Experienced at managing external service providers against established contractual obligations
- Orientation to provide multiple approaches to solving problems, and recognize when to apply appropriate flexibility and rigidity to solutions
Who you will do:
- Support the incorporation of Spellman’s global HR processes, tools, and procedures into the Workday system configuration
- Build, develop and lead a global team in a manner that supports functional and site-level needs
- Proactively support projects, project risks/issues and implement effective mitigation plans
- Communicate effectively and manage Workday project stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization
- Deploy new solutions and manage continuous improvement with a strong focus on efficiency, data privacy, and compliance
- Partner with HR Leadership across all regions and actively engage with stakeholders across all functions and regions to ensure that the voice of the customer is heard and customer needs are prioritized in the creation of effective solutions
- Plan and direct the ongoing administration of the organization’s HRIS (Workday HCM) in a manner that supports the achievement of organization goals, provides data analytics that enable efficiency, champions data awareness and data-driven decision-making, and promotes cross-company collaboration and innovation
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree required plus 8+ years relevant experience. Advanced degrees can substitute for experience.
- Change Management experience with a specific focus on prior experiences in managing the introduction and stabilization processes in a manner that results in the fullest adoption.
- Prior success delivering SaaS solutions with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for improving the employee and manager experience. Prior consulting experience with software design, testing and implementation is a plus.
- Workday HCM implementation experience, to include design/configuration, UAT, deployment, hypercare, stabilization, and continuous improvement/change control experience is required. Bonus for International deployments.
This is a remote-friendly position. Candidates proximate to Spellman offices are preferred.
