Senior Vice President Operations

The VP will be responsible for driving growth and profitability analyzing their divisions/units’ sales trends, market conditions, competitors, and customers’ needs to implement strategic initiatives to meet company goals and objectives. Reporting to the CEO, the Divisional Vice President will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and play a critical role in shaping the organization’s future direction and driving its operational effectiveness. The individual will have a deep understanding of the wholesale business channel, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand our customer base and increase revenue while maximizing profitability through sustainable approaches.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and execute divisional strategies that positively affect sales, profitability, and organizational strategies.
• Build strong partnerships with key operational teams to identify opportunities for joint initiatives and projects that leverage the strengths of each function to achieve shared objectives.
• Effectively collaborate & partner with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, new product development, finance, and other division heads to ensure seamless execution of company’s initiatives across different channels.
• Confer with CEO, executive team, and managers to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from status conditions.
• Establish channels and processes for sharing relevant information, insights, and best practices between the operations and the divisional business planning teams.
• Design short- and long-term goals and develop KPIs to track, measure, and monitor progress and overall health of the divisions business unit performance, and quickly react and act on areas of opportunity.
• Participate in annual strategy, operations/business reviews, and budget presentations to the executive team.
• Oversee divisional activities to ensure that people, systems, and processes are in place for the business to scale profitably.
• Drive revenue growth through the development of new products and new customers while at the same time growing with existing customers.
• Analyze quantitative data and review financial reporting to identify strategic opportunities that can be used to continuously improve business division performance.
• Own budgeting and forecasting cycles in partnership with the CFO, driving top-line revenue and ultimately meeting and/or exceeding budgeted EBITDA for each fiscal period.
• Establishes, communicates, and implements division-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective, and consistent support and execution.
• Provide leadership and management to direct reports, including oversight and monitoring of performance including customer service, sales, and other departmental employees.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Advanced degree (MBA) or certification preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Vineland, NJ (Relocation Assistance may be provided)
• 10 years of leadership in agriculture, wholesale, or manufacturing with at least 5 years in senior leadership experience
• Previous progressive experience in sales, marketing, advertising, and/or operations
