Job Description
Business Overview:
Global Prime Services technology is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Business Analyst to assist in delivering various enhancements to applications and processes supporting Prime & Finance platform. This is a specialized, cross-asset platform, providing full service offering including Cash PB, Synthetics, Financing, and Margin. The long-term focus of the platform is on supporting activity growth targets set by the management, responding to the fast-pace of client demand for new products and services, and compliance with new regulatory obligations. There are several strategic technology initiatives on the way to accelerate DevOps, Virtualization, and Cloud transformation, as well as adaptation of machine learning and artificial intelligence to deliver client offering.

Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of project deliverables against agreed scope, budget and timeline.
  • Liaise with IT teams negotiating deliveries on the dependencies of the specific projects.
  • Investigation of any issues, determining root causes and obtaining resolution.
  • Setup and coordinate meetings associated with various project work-streams.
  • Lead projects through entire project lifecycle from feasibility study to delivery
  • Develop Test Procedures for various deliverables, in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Drive project delivery by maintaining project plans, organize status meetings, and prepare minutes. Develop user training and user guides.
  • Conduct qualification of releases, System Integrated testing, User Acceptance testing
  • Lead the process to gather and document business requirements
  • Escalate blocking issues to the appropriate level of management.
  • Prepare User guides, Business Cases, Training Material, Production Support procedures
  • Provide regular reporting of deliveries against key milestones, proactive notification of risks and issues
  • Convert business requirements into Functional specifications and System requirements
  • Explain the functional/system requirements to the development team
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Functional and Technical
  • Ability to:
  • Excellent verbal / presentation and written communication skills with the ability to document clear and concise business and functional requirements documents;
  • Work both independently and with a team in a dynamic environment;
  • Deep Knowledge of various asset classes: Equities, Bonds, Options, Swaps;
  • Excellent Business analysis and documentation skills with ability to think logically to analyze problems and define efficient solutions;
  • Strong risk assessment, negotiation and problem resolution skills;
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager / Business Analyst working exclusively on projects within Global Markets;
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint;
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with representatives of a diverse range of departments globally;
  • Understanding technical and business processes of trade life-cycle in US and international markets;
  • Prioritize, organize own work and manage time effectively;
  • Work within an environment with high pressure on timeliness and quality of deliveries

The expected starting salary range for this position in New Jersey is between $110 to $150 annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
