Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the leadership team to define and execute the company's growth strategy.
• Foster collaboration of Data Science and Product Engineering with cross functional teams including Product Strategy, Business Development and Machine Learning functions
• Spearhead all data science activities, collaborating closely with product management to translate business requirements into data science and engineering projects
• Recruit, mentor, and inspire your team as we scale for the future.
• Lead all Data Science engineering activities, overseeing the development, deployment, and maintenance of the AI data platform and analytics solutions.
• Contribute hands-on expertise to training, testing, and validation of AI models, along with ongoing software development requirements.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with container management systems (Amazon ECS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Extensive experience in partnering and communicating with executives and departmental leads, including Marketing/Product, Quality, Regulatory, Finance/BD, HR, and Operations, as well as founders and Board of Directors.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in the Life Science domain or a related field.
• Commercial experience in architecture, development, and deployment of cloud infrastructure for production AI/ML inference.
• Exceptional technical prowess, with the ability to design, architect, and implement AI/ML solutions. Strong background in machine and statistical learning techniques for sequential data.
• Strong leadership and management skills, including effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated experience leading AI/ML product development throughout the total product life cycle.
• Proven track record of identifying, hiring, developing, and retaining top industry talents.
• Extensive knowledge of FDA guidance and AI/ML development under "Good Machine Learning Practice" (GMLP), including best practices for data management, feature extraction, training, interpretability, evaluation, and documentation.
• Experienced in providing statistical support for clinical trials and FDA regulatory submissions.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML and Data Engineering toolchains, pipelines, and model training techniques.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to create roadmaps and define measures of success.
• Over 18+ years of experience in emerging technology and innovation roles.
• Proficiency in several data science programming languages and tools (Python, C++, R, Java, MATLAB, SQL, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to derive insights from R&D, Validation, and clinical data to drive business outcomes.
