The Senior Vice President of Operations - East (“SVP”) is the senior operations executive responsible for East markets. The SVP is responsible for executing the company’s strategic plan, driving and improving the culture of the operations organization, meeting the annual division P&L, overseeing, and supporting the daily operations of the management of the geographic territory, while maintaining safety standards and growing client relationships. The SVP, as a key member of the TriStruX management team, will drive company strategy into daily operations execution.The SVP will work with the Business Development organization to build the division from its current revenue level to a significant operation over the next 2 years. This is a visible role that will work from our HQ location as well as our geographic market locations.
Responsibilities:
·Leadership:
oBe a “Culture Carrier” to represent and spread the Company’s values and operational standards throughout the Division. Support and move forward the company’s Employer of Choice goals.
oUse Company Strategic plan to develop division strategy, implement efficiently and assess organizational performance against it.
oCollaborate with regional management staff to execute short to middle-term implementation plans and assess organizational performance against it.
oManage direct reports to efficiently meet client quality and satisfaction targets, on time / on budget installation of each job and support of corporate initiatives.
oMentor and develop direct reports and identified high potential employees, managing training, performance evaluation, problem resolution and the building of an effective team dynamic.
oBe a “voice of the field” to corporate business partners to keep the organization focused on business building, employee focused, client friendly initiatives.
·Financial Operations:
oMeet the annual division operating P&L, Cashflow and Capital budget through effective workforce management, revenue generation, efficiency improvements and client satisfaction.
oManage organization to meet monthly billing targets and A/R collection targets to ensure adequate cash generation.
oLead and develop the team to be more financially competent, from monthly planning processes to business case development for client programs and business investments.
oPreparation and maintenance of annual budgets and regular financial planning meetings, including monthly variance reviews.
·Division Operations:
oEnsure customer satisfaction, profitability, and the growth of client relationships.
oEnsure that work is of the highest quality and all operational performance metrics are met or exceeded.
oUnderstand current operational processes. Works with management and team members to identify and address process problems that result in client issues or inefficient company results. Ensures consistent, efficient, controllable processes are consistently rolled out and following throughout the organization.
oDevelop growth plan tied to the strategic plan for the work force and ensure HC targets are met and employee turnover is minimized. Ensure skill set of new and trained employees are focused on where the skills of employees will need to be to support our client’s evolving technologies.
oFosters a positive environment within the organization. Supports career path and training initiatives to build a strong organization.
oPursues and develops new business opportunities for the company in their division or region and participates in the estimating process.
oComplies with all specifications, industry standards, safety rules, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Education and Experience:
- 10 – 15 years of relevant Operations experience within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong safety record and demonstrated experience of working within established and advanced Health and Safety program.
- Working knowledge of relevant clients, products, and services.
- Business experience relevant to the assigned accounts strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing at least a $ 20M annual P&L.

- This position requires 33-50% travel within the Division and to corporate offices.
