New Opportunity - Vice President of Operations NA - CDMO

Irving Knight is pleased to be partnering with a growing Cell & Gene CDMO.

Summary: We are seeking a Vice President of Operations that will oversee the organization’s technical operations with a focus on enabling the growth and expansion of client-focused clinical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategies to improve operational efficiency, quality, and safety across the organization

- Oversee production planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery of products and services

- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

- Manage the procurement of equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for manufacturing and production activities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, cost reductions, and operational efficiencies

- Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply chains - Monitor and report on operational performance metrics, making recommendations for improvements as needed

- Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, setting clear goals and expectations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement

- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and policies

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing operations in a CDMO environment

- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly and effectively

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization

- Experience with quality systems, including cGMP, ISO 9001, and FDA regulations

- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies is a plus
