Position Summary:


In this strategic role, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying and recruiting top mid to senior-level professionals that will contribute to our company's growth and success. This role will serve as a Talent Acquisition subject matter expert on the SSF Human Resources Talent Acquisition team, reporting to the Director of Human Resources. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is skilled with natural relationship-building skills, and enjoys collaborating with business partners, hiring managers, college campus personnel, and team members to identify and recruit high caliber talent for multiple Firm departments including audit, tax, consulting, and administration.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present recruiting data and metrics, to track and report on recruiting data, drive key decisions, and ensure compliance with OFCCP and other relevant regulations.
  • Deliver a solid professional presence on social media sites, at networking and/or recruiting events, and across the firm by representing and promoting SSF’s values and principles.
  • Utilize and diversify online candidate sourcing channels to identify candidates through common and less conventional methods.
  • Build strong partnership with leadership across the firm by understanding business needs and providing strategic insights as a trusted business partner.
  • Establish and maintain talent market expertise to consult on key hiring and industry trends.
  • Align and work collaboratively with hiring managers and the HR team to understand business objectives and candidate requirements for Firm positions.
  • Research and recommend target firms, schools, and resources to support sourcing strategies to build talent communities and networks.
  • Engage candidates during the hiring process to provide a great candidate experience and build the Firm’s employment brand.
  • Proactively manage the full candidate lifecycle of experienced candidate recruitment, hiring and onboarding.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract and select top talent to build the Firm’s talent pipeline and hire best matched candidates to achieve workforce and staffing needs.
  • Conduct candidate pre-screenings, including phone interviews to identify best matched talent to Firm open positions.
  • Utilize the Firm’s Talent Management System, UKG Pro, for recruiting and onboarding.
  • Coordinate in-person and virtual interviews with hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR team to curate a long-term hiring strategy that reflects the Firm’s values, vision, and brand.
  • Attract diverse candidates and build candidate pipelines by proactively sourcing talent from underrepresented groups through involvement with minority institutions, referrals, and inclusive job descriptions.
  • Present internal and external qualified candidates to hiring managers that best fit the qualifications of the position, while meeting/exceeding hiring manager expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability in developing and driving successful talent acquisition strategies
  • Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), preferably UKG Pro
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field of study
  • Strong knowledge of employment law at the local, state and federal level
  • Excellent relationship-building, interpersonal, engagement, time-management, organizational, verbal and written communication, and decision-making skills
  • Experience in the public accounting or professional service industry preferred
  • Deep experience in sourcing and recruiting experienced professionals
  • 5+ years of progressive full lifecycle Talent Acquisition experience in a professional services environment
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing job boards and social media channels to source talent
  • High degree of initiative with excellent critical thinking skills
  • Commitment to a heightened sense of urgency associated with the talent acquisition processes
  • Understanding of immigration employment law is a plus
  • Tech savvy with proficiency in MS Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
