As a Recruiting Manager for IT Services , you will play a pivotal role in a significant organizational transformation. This project aims to facilitate the transition of existing employees into new roles within the organization, necessitating a large-scale recruitment effort. We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and energetic individual who can effectively manage a team of recruiters and coordinators to meet the ambitious hiring targets of approximately 30 hires per month over the course of 9-12 months.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain awareness of market trends and recruitment best practices to continuously optimize the recruitment strategy.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and Anders (CIO) to address recruitment challenges, offer approvals, and maintain open communication throughout the process.
- Oversee the recruitment process for both internal candidates and external hires, with a particular focus on management positions.
- Plan and organize interview days, coordinating with the team to ensure smooth scheduling and execution.
- Support Anders in various tasks related to recruitment and the overall organizational transformation.
- Collaborate with the HR team to orchestrate a cohesive onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive and unified experience.
- Develop and maintain detailed reporting, dashboards, and metrics to track recruitment progress, candidate pipelines, offers, and hires. The legacy ATS will be sunsetting, requiring manual reporting capabilities.
- Coach recruiters on best practices, ensuring professional growth and development within the team.
- Work closely with the CIO to ensure direct line visibility into recruitment activities, maintaining a focus on timely completion of the hiring process.
- Lead and manage a team of Senior Technical Recruiters, Technical Sources, TA Coordinators, and an HR Coordinator to efficiently handle the volume of recruitment needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years of overall professional experience in recruiting or a related field.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and bureaucratic environment, demonstrating adaptability and motivation to drive results.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
- Extensive experience in technical recruiting, with a solid understanding of sourcing strategies and candidate pipeline management.
- Proven ability to create and manage granular reporting, preferably using tools like Smartsheet, to track and analyze recruitment metrics effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, including hiring managers and senior leadership.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a fast-paced and high-volume recruitment environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing large-scale recruiting projects or organizational transformations.
- Familiarity with ATS systems and the ability to adapt to manual reporting requirements in the absence of automated tools.
- Knowledge of IT services and technical roles in a university or similar environment is a plus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious hiring targets in a competitive job market.
