Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As Director of Talent Acquisition, it will be your job to ensure that talent acquisition and selection practices continue to be innovative, efficient, equitable, and enjoyable for all involved. You’ll inherit a high performing team who will look to you to further optimize our systems and processes while nurturing their individual talents whether they are leaders, veteran recruiters or new to the field. You’ll report to our VP of People & Culture and will be a valued member of our Director-Level enterprise leadership team which spans the entire organization.

  • Nurture, develop, and support a team of high performing leaders and team members to their fullest potential
  • Right sizing talent acquisition capacity, roles, and capabilities to be ahead of future needs
  • Utilizing analytics to understand and report on the performance of the function as well as identify areas for improvement and/or efficiencies to always evolve the function
  • Building influential relationships across the organization so you and the team are trusted partners for leaders
  • Evolving a compelling vision (with a well-socialized plan!) for the next era of Recruiting
  • Staying connected to business needs, strategies, and challenges to be able to pivot and remain agile

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline.

Experience:

  • History of delivering results for niche hiring in areas like Technology, Marketing, Sales, and for Leadership roles
  • History of refining the selection funnel with experience in mind (Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and Candidates included)
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver hiring results across a wide range of role and experience profiles
  • Proven track record of being a caring leader with high EQ, servant leadership, and performance management success (for both team members and leaders on the team)
  • Significant experience leading enterprise talent acquisition at scale, preferably in a similarly fast-paced, high volume, and high touch environment

Additional Skills:

  • Clear bias for action and ready and willing to switch from being hands on to strategic when/as needed
  • Pluses: Project management/execution
  • Success defining DEI talent acquisition success measures and related strategies to increase representation and reduce bias throughout the candidate funnel & selection
  • Growth Mindset and high curiosity with a readiness to test/pilot new things
  • Demonstrated business acumen and related sense of urgency and being proactive
  • Ability to use metrics and data to both tell a story and identify opportunities
