Job Description
CSEA, one of New York State’s largest public employee unions, is seeking resumes for a Senior Secretarial Office Assistant for our Rochester, NY office. Reporting to the Office Manager, this position provides secretarial support for Labor Relations Specialists and Regional Staff Associates; edits and types correspondence, memoranda and documents; supports contract negotiations by coordinating communications between negotiators; types various forms; performs the duties of Office Manager during the Office Managers’ absence; Performs other duties as assigned.
Starting salary $43,184 with excellent wellness benefits, generous leave package, defined benefit pension plan and opportunity to participate in 401(k).
Qualifications
  • Must successfully complete appropriate tests administered by the Human Resources Department OR A satisfactory combination of education, training and work experience as determined by CSEA and must successfully complete test administered by Human Resources.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of office software.
  • Type 40 words per minute and good grammar and spelling skills.
