We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Workday Project Manager/Business Analyst to lead strategic projects and ensure successful project delivery, alignment with the organization’s objectives.
As a WORKDAY PROJECT MANAGER/BUSINESS ANALYST, you will play a pivotal role as a project manager, overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects. Your responsibilities include coordinating project activities, maintaining quality and performance standards, and creating comprehensive project documentation. You will serve as a vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering and assessing end-user, business, and service requirements.
Your expertise as a business analyst will come into play when conducting preliminary studies for potential administrative applications and technological solutions. You will also contribute to quality assurance, systems testing, and user acceptance activities. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll interact closely with internal and external teams, providing clear directives and feedback.
Moreover, you will contribute to the enhancement of internal best practices, fostering partnerships within and outside the organization to deliver high-quality services. Coaching colleagues in project management and business analysis techniques will be part of your role, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate, and monitor all project activities, ensuring they meet quality and
performance objectives.
- Prepare and deliver project-related documentation and coordinate schedules, including status
meetings, reports, and working sessions.
- Act as a liaison between clients and technical teams, evaluating end-user, business, and
service requirements.
- Maintain accountability for project performance, cost, scope, schedule, and quality.
- Foster strong communication with internal and external teams, offering clear, tactful directives
and prompt feedback.
- Collaborate closely with project and departmental team members to ensure deliverables meet
client expectations.
- Participate in technical design sessions, ensuring alignment between business requirements
- Perform business analysis, quality assurance, systems testing, and user acceptance activities.

Required Experience:
- Experience with the Workday platform is mandatory, while knowledge of other administrative business applications (e.g., ERP, CRM) is beneficial.
- Required certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional).
- Familiarity with Human Resources, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, and/or Budget domains.
- Understanding of systems and infrastructure, including identity access management (IAM) concepts and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in business process analysis and/or project management.
- 13+ years of overall PM/BA experience (11+ with an advanced degree) in managing complex projects and/or services supporting business functions.
- At least 4 years of experience in project managing Workday HCM, Payroll, or Finance implementations
- Proficiency in various project management methodologies (waterfall, lean, agile) and business process tools.
- Preferred experience in a higher education environment.
