About the Role:
The Workday Business Development Representative (BDR) for UST will deploy various prospecting/lead generation approaches across target accounts nationally. You will also engage actively the Workday sales and alliance channels to build relationships and generate leads.
The Opportunity:
- Research prospect organizations and competitor analysis to enable effective outbound campaigns.
- Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects and build relationships with key decision makers and Workday AEs/CSMs at targeted accounts.
- Achieve quarterly lead generation and customer contact goals.
- Build and refresh/update Go-To-Market materials
- Research & gather potential customer’s critical business needs and challenges, identify, and qualify budget, timelines, business issues and obstacles for hand off to UST senior sales executive or practice leader
- Plan support and execute campaigns working with internal Marketing when appropriate; to effectively engage prospects
- Utilize CRM for leads and activity and ensure account ownership and opportunities are correctly aligned.
- Maintain a constant cadence of contacts to customers and prospects to ensure UST top of mind awareness.
What you need:
- 3+ years’ experience in prospecting, lead generation, business development strategies
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to hold executive level conversations
- Cloud SaaS ERP and solutions exposure such as Workday (preferred), ServiceNow, Salesforce, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience identifying and working with C level clients; setting qualified client meetings for senior-level sales
- Detail oriented and strong organizational skills, with experience responding to RFP/RFIs with guidance
- Highly motivated, tenacious, self-starter

Bonus Points if:
- Experience working in a global organization and partnering with local (nearshore) or offshore support teams (India)
- Knowledge of CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo) is a plus
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City, or Washington as set forth below.
Role Location: US Remote
Compensation Range: $75,000-$109,000 plus variable compensation
