Junior Business Analyst - Remote

The Junior Business Analyst’s role is to analyze business processes and end user activities and determine the appropriate standard business practice to be used or to develop functional specifications for the development of a new practice when necessary. The Junior Analyst must be familiar with company business systems as well as industry standard business practices and be able to work with end user communities to identify core activities in existing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client engagements.
• Define standard business processes and solutions.
• Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules.
• Communicates needed changes to development team.
• Understands the business issues and data challenges of end user's organization.
• Proposed solution.
• Analyze and document existing business practices.
• Leads testing efforts, providing guidance and supervision to end users to ensure adequate and thorough testing.
• Identifies organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
• Works with division personnel to identify required changes.
• Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to

Qualifications:

• Experience with MS Access databases, creating and maintaining, is a bonus.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Thorough knowledge of business processes and computerized business applications, especially Oracle Applications.
• Ability to analyze business situations and problems.
• Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
