GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Marketing and Operations Business Analyst will be an integral member of the Business Intelligence team at MedCerts. Specializing in dashboard and report creation within Salesforce and Tableau, the role ensures the marketing and student services/career services teams have actionable insights to track their KPI goals. The ideal candidate will have experience with various marketing ad platforms, allowing for efficient data extraction and interpretation, and a deep knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau formulas for sophisticated reporting. The business intelligence team plays a large role across the organization, so the Marketing and Operations Business Analyst will have opportunities to learn new skills and grow in their role.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure visualizations are clear, actionable, and allow teams to easily track their KPIs.
- Engage with both the marketing and student services/career services teams to gather requirements and ensure data solutions meet their needs.
- Utilize advanced Salesforce and Tableau formulas to craft reports that reflect intricate KPI goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation of data processes, sources, and formula methodologies.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users, ensuring they understand and can effectively use the dashboards and reports provided.
- Dive deeply into outcomes derived from both recently implemented and long-standing marketing and student services initiatives to determine drivers of success and propose alternative solutions if necessary.
- Interpret data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities related to the set KPIs.
- Collaborate with tech teams to optimize data collection, reporting, and automation.
- Design, develop, and optimize dynamic dashboards and reports in Salesforce and Tableau tailored to the needs of the marketing and student services/career services teams.
- Translate non-technical KPI goals into technical requirements for accurate reporting.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Salesforce, Tableau, and marketing ad platforms to enhance the data extraction and reporting processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve analytical capabilities and provide innovative solutions.
- Coordinate with the marketing and student service team leads to understand the data needs based on active campaigns and platforms.
- Partner with the Chief Strategy Officer to identify business needs, design analytics projects, and deliver actionable insights.
- Recommend tools and integrations to improve data management, visualization, and reporting.
- Collect and analyze call reporting data to help determine hours of operation, staffing, and other operational needs.
- Interpret data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities related to the set KPIs.
- Connect and pull data from different marketing ad platforms, ensuring timely and accurate data extraction.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven expertise in Salesforce and Tableau, with the ability to craft advanced formulas.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with marketing and operations teams.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This is a remote-based position in which work will be completed during normal business hours (approximately 8:30am – 5:00pm EST).
