Job Description

:

  • Our Client is looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Sales Manager who will serve as both a leader to a team of 5 business development professionals with a target of 100M/ year with significant upside potential. As the Sales Manager, you will develop and implement successful sales strategies, build strong relationships with customers, and lead your team to achieve targets and drive growth. You must have a proven track record of accountability, results orientation, and team leadership. Additionally, you must have the ability to create long-lasting relationships with clients, identify and capture business opportunities, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Must Haves:

  • MS Degree in Engineering, Technology, or other related field
  • Currently holding a government issued security clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance
  • Familiarity with power distribution units, electrical infrastructure, energy procurement, and energy related industries (automation, fire protection, solar and/or power generation)
  • Experience leading IDIQ's for the US Federal Government
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in managing multiple projects with multi-disciplinary teams including program management, services, engineering, operations and logistics
  • Strong relationship management
  • 7-10 years of experience as a proven Sales Director, Account Manager or similar
  • Open to travel - 25-50%
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills - will be interfacing with C-suite level executives both internally and externally
  • Experience with prospecting, and facilitating government funded programs in the Infrastructure, Construction, or Energy space
  • Technical BS Degree

Pluses:

  • Able to obtain Top Secret Level Clearance
  • Masters Degree in Engineering, Technology, or other related fields
  • Knowledge of U.S. commercial and Government standards, regulations, and codes (e.g., DoD Unified Facility Criteria, OSHA, NFPA, ASHRAE, NIST, DoD, RMF, NERC CIP Cyber security, etc.)
  • Current possession of US Government Security Clearance
  • Understanding U.S Government Procurement Vehicles
