Patient Account Representative - Remote | Wfh

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team! As an Administrative Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work remotely from the comfort of your own home. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, such as data entry, report generation, and communication with payers.
Responsibilities
Use a 10-key adding machine, calculator, fax machine, photocopy machine, and personal computer (PC)
Perform multiple tasks with good mathematical skills, sound decision-making abilities, and good verbal and written communication skills
Learn new systems and become proficient in the development of reports via hospital systems and tools provided
Be proficient in Excel and Word documents for appeal submissions to payers
Ensure accurate claims submission by understanding CMS rules and regulations
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Internet connectivity from home location with a minimum data speed of 100 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up
Ability to work remotely
Knowledge of hospital billing and follow-up preferred
Knowledge Of Hospital Billing Requirements And Regulations Preferred
Knowledge of Commercial, Senior Managed Care or group insurance billing requirements and regulations preferred
Evidence of continuing education preferred
