Soho is a web3 company based in New York. We’re building a new platform to help creators and collectors discover, track, and invest in digital collectibles. Our mobile app, currently in private beta, is showing strong traction and has amassed over 45K people on the waitlist.
We founded Soho in 2022 with a team from Instagram, where we worked together on creator and commerce products. We’re backed by notable VCs, including Khosla Ventures and Collab+Currency, and angels from Meta, Patreon, and OpenSea.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Partnerships Lead with a passion for growing consumer products. In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships with creators, collectors, and brand organizations to grow our platform's customers and ecosystem. As the first partnerships hire, you will be reporting to the CEO, cultivating the partnerships foundation and process, and working closely with a team of product designers and engineers.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with our product, design, and engineering teams to identify opportunities for platform enhancements, new features, and marketing campaigns that can drive customer acquisition and engagement through partnerships.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnerships strategy that aligns with our company's goals and targets high-value partnerships.
- Monitor and report on partnership performance metrics, analyzing data and providing insights to guide decision-making.
- Identify and engage with potential partners, including creators, collectors, and brand organizations, to establish and grow mutually beneficial relationships.
- Negotiate and close partnership deals, including co-marketing initiatives, product integrations, and revenue-sharing agreements.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience of driving partnerships process, including understanding business and customer needs, identifying valuable partners, negotiating and closing deals, and executing marketing campaigns and product integrations.
- Excellent negotiator and communicator –you can build and maintain relationships with partners and drive financial/growth outcomes.
- 4+ years of partnerships or business development experience, including a track record of successfully closing strategic deals.
- Independent – you can work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong sense of ownership and proactiveness.
- Open to travel–you can attend industry events and meetings with our our partners.
- Analytical –you can conduct market research, data analysis and user sentiment to identify partnership opportunities and make informed decisions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset – you arecustomer-focused, goal-driven, resourceful, and a quick learner eager to roll up your sleeves and tackle any tasks.
