Our recruiting firm has been retained by one of our Consumer Services Software clients to help them hire a Director of Brand Partnerships. This job is fully remote and the candidate needs to be located in the EST zone.
Our client is a profitable post-Series A company based overseas. They have been successful in launching their solutions in Europe and now are looking to build on that momentum in the US. In this role, you will be responsible for signing on partners to exponentially grow consumer awareness and ultimately traffic to their online services. This is a great opportunity to be on the founding team in the US as our client continues their rapid growth.
Responsibilities and Required Experience:
• Make strong and long-lasting connections and leverage your existing contacts of media, marketing, commercial, and partnership contacts.
• Demonstrable track record of branded content and partnerships sales experience with US marketplaces that have relied on consumer traffic
• An understanding of editorial environments and background in terms of how brands work/align with content publishers
• Proactive, hunter sales mentality and curious by nature who prospects with a custom, solutions-oriented approach focused on metrics for success
• Consultative in sales style, able to influence potential partners via persuasive sales arguments.
• The ability to influence potential partners through big brand partnership ideas
• Prospecting – keeping on top of new sales leads and business opportunities in terms of brand partnerships pipeline
• Ability to achieve significant new business targets and account growth
• Sign and deliver contracts while increasing frequency and value month over month
• Proven track record opening doors across brands and agency contacts at all levels
• 5 plus years selling in digital, ad tech, martech, branded content, and social/influencer marketing programs
